The Hope For Haiti's Children Inc. goes to Haiti at least two times each year. Every time they go, they bring items donated by people like you. Yet, many things are still needed. Check out the list below: |
Food Rice Peanut Butter and Jelly (plastic jars only) Ham/Meat (sliced or freshly cut) Dried Beans Dried Fruit Crackers Canned Tuna Fish Powdered Full-Fat Milk Pasta Canned Soup Salt Powdered Sugar Butter (in plastic buckets only) Bread Medicine Vitamins Children's Cold Medicines (Tylenol, Motrin, etc.) Stomach Ache Medicines (Peptol Bismol, Kaopectate, etc) Chidren's Allergy Medicines (Benadryl, Suddafed,etc.) Clothes for ages 3-12 (girls and boys) T-shirts Shorts Pants Skirts Dresses (fancy or casual) Sandals Sneakers and Tennis Shoes Underwear and Socks Very Thin and Light Sweaters (please no thick ones) (Please summer clothing only; it almost never gets below 70 degrees in Haiti!) Household Items (unused please) Toothbrushes and Toothpaste Toilet paper Soap (liquid and bars) Hair Brushes and Combs Scrunchies, Hair Ties, Barrets etc. Shampoo and Conditioner Reusable Plastic Dishes (Cups and Plates) Educational Materials Pencils Pens Paper (lined or xerox) Geometry Sets Erasers Sharpeners Scissors (round tip) Glue (stick or liquid) Crayons Color Pencils Typewriter Children's and School Books in FRENCH only Notebooks Folders Classroom Decorations (educational) Computer Toys Small Racecars Dolls Barbies (with clothes) Soft Playing Balls (soccer, volleyball, basketball, etc. NO baseballs) Small Toy Figures (batman, etc.) Coloring books Stuffed Animals The things above are greatly needed. If you would like to donate anything above please send at least a small amount of money with the donation. The money will be used to send the items to Haiti.
